This position is responsible for overseeing the budgeting and operations of a construction project.
Job Description
About the Role:
Prepare detailed construction cost cash-flow ⓠfor both inward and outward cash-flow
Oversee accurate and timely billing to clients/customers
Ensure invoices comply with contracts, pricing agreements, and SLAs
Manage milestone-based, time & material, or fixed-price billing models
Coordinate with delivery, and project teams to validate billable data
Develop procedures and programs for successful commercial management of each item of work. One point responsibility for co-ordination of all billing and cost management needs of the project
Establish baseline project budget & project plan in collaboration with client
Prepare Cost management and billing Strategy in consultation with project lead
Review tender documents and provide valuable inputs suitable to client requirement with all terms and conditions required to achieve objectives of project
Lead the consortium to answer all the technical queries by the contractor.
Guide client for all commercial discussion and reconciliation process
Conduct regular and frequent meetings with vendors and team to close any
Strategize the change management process and implement into the project
Visit site along with project lead for assessment of work progress and strategize measurement process
Prepare of Cost tracker and Billing summary till the commercial closure and present to client for closure
Manage post contract and cost management activities
Identify financial risks related to billing delays, cost overruns, or compliance gaps
Implement controls to mitigate revenue loss and disputes
Post Award of works supervise project for performance assessment of contractor at regular intervals.
Coordinate work and assign tasks within project teams.
Coordinate with vendors for measurement and billing validation and certifications
About You:
B.E Civil with 8+ years of experience in execution of commercial projects working with PMC.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Financial Knowledge:
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages and Negotiations skills are a must

Cost Control & Financial Monitoring
Process Improvement & Systems Management
Reasoning Ability:
Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
Other:
Intermediate skills with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite including MSP & Auto CAD
