GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS Under the general direction of the Crew Leader – The Class B Line Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the Generators, Transmission Lines and the Mobile Sub for CEPCI throughout New Horizon Electric Cooperative service area. Responsible for Generators, Line work and Hauling Transformers. Also coordinates general service functions for members of the Cooperative. Conducts safe operating procedures and complies with established regulations and standards. ESSENTIAL TASKS: The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. The crew leader may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary.
