The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing and applying logistics operations for the Supply Chain Services Department at SECO Energy, ensuring the efficient handling of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and reverse logistics processes. This position oversees the creation and implementation of best practices for investment recovery, including determining and initiating the sale, scrap, repair, or reuse of used, obsolete, discontinued, or excess materials and equipment. The Logistics Supervisor plays a critical role in tracking and verifying shipping and receiving documentation, monitoring non-stock materials, processing and tracking returns and replacements, and analyzing inventory for critical technology items. Leveraging strong analytical skills, this role identifies and implements process efficiencies and improvements, ensuring alignment with SECO Energy’s Mission, Vision, and strategic goals. Additionally, the Logistics Supervisor leads and develops assigned personnel while collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to maintain seamless logistical operations.

Education
Associates degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience
Four (4) years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience or similar work in an electric utility or related industry preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
Certification in a supply chain-related function as Inventory Control, Logistics, or Purchasing is preferred.
Other Requirements
Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.

Shipping and Receiving Coordination:
Ensure timely delivery of all UPS, FedEx (ground and air) shipments for all locations and oversee the preparation of products and packing lists to meet specifications.
Direct data entry and maintain accurate records for shipments using online shipping systems.
Coordinate return, replacement, and warranty processes for defective items, tracking and logging all returns such as tools, evaluation items, wrong-ordered materials, warranty replacements or repairs, and truck scales.
Identify proper FOB points and manage freight damage claims.
Maintain organized, complete, and updated receiving files.
Inventory and Materials Management:
Oversee inventory control for information technology products and materials.
Create and implement best practices for investment recovery (reverse logistics) of used, obsolete, discontinued, or excess materials.
Apply knowledge of statistical process control for materials movement and storage optimization.
Logistical Analysis and Process Improvement:
Analyze and coordinate logistical functions to improve operational efficiency.
Review numerical and statistical data to identify utilization and efficiency opportunities, making actionable recommendations.
Identify workflow improvements and recommend actions to reconcile shipping and receiving discrepancies.
