The Director of Athletics will serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Army West Point Athletic Association Inc. (“AWPAA”), a New York nonprofit corporation authorized via a Cooperative Agreement to execute the intercollegiate athletics programs of the United States Military Academy at West Point and supports the Academy’s mission to build leaders of character for the Army and our nation. AWPAA executes 28 athletics teams supporting 24 head coaches and over 1,000 cadet-athletes. The Director of Athletics will be responsible for creating and leading an environment for competitive and respected Division I, or equivalent, athletics programs. The Director of Athletics will be responsible for significant fundraising responsibilities and overseeing substant
