Job Description Summary
The Handyperson is a position within the line of operations of C&W Services. The incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance functions, including, patching and painting walls, replacing ceiling tiles and minor equipment, plumbing, carpentry repairs.

Responsibilities/Tasks/Duties
- Install office partitions and furniture
- Install a variety of flooring materials
- Repair furniture
- Patch and paint walls
- Install and maintain door closers, locksets and passage sets
- Perform minor plumbing repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment
- Install bulletin boards and writing boards
- Replace damaged, stained, or missing ceiling tiles
- Replace damaged VCT floor tile
- Refasten existing or replace damaged cover base
- Analyze/assess problems quickly and accurately
- Act independently and with little supervision
- Learn new tasks and systems
- To receive and give constructive feedback
- To manage time well, accomplishing tasks on schedule
- To use common hand tools
- To use power tools
- Ability to operate van, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and others as required
- To understand written and verbal job instructions
- To support companyâ™s goals and objectives
- Perform other related duties as assigned, such as snow removal, assisting other tradesmen and emergency repairs

Requirements
2-5 years previous experience as a handyman or related position
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Good interpersonal communications skills and ability to work with other people.
Requires attention to detail.
